Changora Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-30
Changora ("the app") is a free money-counting and cashier change practice app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It shows practice questions with illustrated bills and coins (counting, making an amount and giving change), keeps a simple record of your practice rounds and streak, and explains how to count change back. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us. All questions are generated on your device and work offline.
Your data
Your practice rounds (practice type, difficulty, currency, number of correct answers, time taken and which coins or bills you missed), your streak and your settings (such as currency, questions per round, sound and vibration) are stored locally on your device.
- The app itself does not upload this data, and we never receive it.
- The advertising SDK described below may collect information as explained in that section. Your practice records and settings are not passed to the advertising SDK.
- If you use "Share" or "Share with a friend", only a short text (for example your score and a link to the app) goes to the app you choose through Android's share sheet.
- Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
Permissions
- Notifications — for an optional daily practice reminder. You can decline or turn it off; everything else keeps working.
- Run at startup — to restore reminders after the phone restarts or the time zone changes.
- Vibration — for an optional vibration when you tap a bill or coin, and for reminder alerts.
- Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below. Some permissions declared by Google libraries (for example a foreground service used by system components) are not used by the app to read personal information.
Changora does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone call access, SMS, calendar or photo library permissions, or permission to draw over other apps. It does not handle real money, payments or bank information — the bills and coins are illustrations for practice only.
Advertising and information collected automatically
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget, and never on the practice question screen). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Your app data exists only on your device and in backups you control; uninstalling the app removes the app's own copies. You can delete individual practice rounds from the Progress screen. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.
