Cradlio Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-28
Cradlio ("the app") is a free pregnancy planner provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It helps you keep track of prenatal checkups and the questions you want to ask, weekly to-dos, a hospital bag list and a simple birth plan, and shows how far along you are from your due date. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us. The checklists are built into the app and work offline.
The app is a planning tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Your data
Your due date (or the first day of your last period, if you choose to enter it instead), checkups, questions, notes, to-dos, hospital bag and birth plan items and settings are stored locally on your device.
- The app itself does not upload this data, and we never receive it.
- The advertising SDK described below may collect information as explained in that section. Your due date, checkups, notes and lists are not passed to the advertising SDK.
- If you share a list (for example your hospital bag list or your questions), it goes only to the app you choose through Android's share sheet.
- If you export your data, the file is saved where you choose; it is not sent to us.
- Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
Permissions
- Notifications — for checkup reminders you set and optional morning/evening reminders about your to-dos and questions. You can decline or turn them off; everything else keeps working.
- Run at startup — to restore reminders after the phone restarts or the time zone changes.
- Vibration — for reminder alerts.
- Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below. Some permissions declared by Google libraries (for example basic phone state or a foreground service used by system components) are not used by the app to read personal information.
Cradlio does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone call access, SMS, calendar or photo library permissions, or permission to draw over other apps.
Advertising and information collected automatically
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Your app data exists only on your device and in backups you control; uninstalling the app removes the app's own copies. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
