Ferrovo Privacy Policy

Ferrovo ("the app") is a free workout counter provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). You create your own exercises, tap a large tile to count reps or sets, and the app starts a rest stopwatch automatically. It keeps a log of your workouts, shows simple stats and a streak for the workout days you choose, can play bundled workout music, and can remind you before your workout time. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us. Everything works offline.

Your data

Your exercises, workout sessions (counts, sets, rest times, start and end times), workout days and reminder time, and settings are stored locally on your device.

• The app itself does not upload this data, and we never receive it.
• The advertising SDK described below may collect information as explained in that section. Your exercises, workout records and settings are not passed to the advertising SDK.
• If you use "Share", only the result card or text you see goes to the app you choose through Android's share sheet.
• Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.

Permissions

• Notifications — for optional reminders before your workout time. You can decline or turn them off; everything else keeps working.
• Run at startup — to restore reminders after the phone restarts or the time zone changes.
• Vibration — for tap feedback and reminder alerts, if you turn it on.
• Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below. Some permissions declared by Google libraries (for example a foreground service used by system components) are not used by the app to read personal information.

Ferrovo does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone call access, SMS, calendar, photo library or body sensor permissions, or permission to draw over other apps. Workout music is bundled inside the app and played on your device.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget, never while a workout session is running, and never on screens where you type, such as editing an exercise). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Health information

Ferrovo is a simple counter and log. It does not connect to Health Connect, Google Fit or any wearable, does not read sensors, and is not a medical device. Counts and times are what you record yourself.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your app data exists only on your device and in backups you control; uninstalling the app removes the app's own copies. You can delete individual exercises and workout sessions inside the app at any time. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
