Imgdeck Privacy Policy

Imgdeck ("the app") is a free app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us") that compresses photos to a target file size, converts image formats, resizes and crops photos to ID and social media sizes, merges photos into a PDF and removes photo metadata. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us.

Photos you process

You choose photos through Android's system photo picker or by sharing them to the app. All processing (decoding, compression, conversion, resizing, PDF creation) runs entirely on your device. Results are saved as new files in your device's Pictures/Imgdeck folder (PDFs in Download/Imgdeck); your original photos are not changed.

• The app itself does not upload your photos or results, and we never receive them.
• Saved results are re-encoded and do not carry the original photo's metadata (such as GPS location, camera model or date).
• The advertising SDK described below may collect information as explained in that section.

Information stored on your device

A short list of your recent results (file name, size, dimensions and a reference to the saved file) and app settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this list; files you saved to your gallery stay until you delete them. Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.

Sharing

If you tap Share, the selected results go to the app you choose through Android's share sheet. The app does not send them anywhere by itself.

Permissions

• Photo picker — the app reads only the photos you pick; it does not request access to your whole photo library.
• Storage (Android 9 and below only) — to save results into your Pictures/Download folder.
• Notifications — optional occasional tips. You can decline; the app keeps working.
• Alarms / run at startup — to restore tips after the phone restarts.
• Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Imgdeck does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or calendar access.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your recent-results list and settings exist only on your device; uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
