FAQ

The songs are too hard. Is there anything easier?
Keysprout's 35 songs are simple one-hand melodies ordered easy first, starting with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Mary Had a Little Lamb. Slow tempo gives you extra time for each key.
Can I play without reading sheet music?
Yes. The next key lights up on the keyboard, so you only need to follow the glow. Key labels can show C D E or Do Re Mi.
The sound comes later than my touch. Does Keysprout lag?
Piano sounds are preloaded when the app starts and play on the instant your finger touches the key. If you hear nothing, check that your phone is not on silent and media volume is up.
Are there a lot of ads?
Keysprout is free and supported by ads, but there are no ads on the keyboard while you play. Full-screen ads only appear between finished songs.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every song and the piano sound are on your phone, so it works with no connection.
Is it good for kids and beginners?
Yes. It is built for beginners, kids doing music homework and anyone who wants a few minutes of daily practice.
Do I need an account?
No account and no sign-up. Your streak and history stay on your phone.
Can I just play freely?
Open free play: no song, no score. Move octaves and play any way you like.
