Monthkeep Privacy Policy

Monthkeep: Fixed Expense Check ("the app") is a free app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us") that helps you list recurring monthly expenses and income and check them off each pay cycle. It has no account system, no login, no bank connection, no subscription and no server operated by us.

Information stored on your device

The fixed expenses and income you enter (names, amounts, due days, account/card and owner labels), your check-off history, payday, reminder times and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app itself does not send this information to us, and we have no server to receive it. The app never connects to your bank or card accounts.

Uninstalling the app deletes the information stored in the app. Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.

Sharing and export

If you tap Share or Export CSV, the app creates a text summary or a CSV file and passes it to the app you select through Android's share sheet. The app does not send it anywhere by itself.

Permissions

• Notifications — reminders the day before and on the due date. You can decline; the app keeps working.
• Alarms / run at startup — to deliver reminders at the time you set and restore them after the phone restarts.
• Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Monthkeep does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or calendar access.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your expense list and settings exist only on your device; you can edit or delete them in the app at any time, and uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
