Rosarly Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-22

Rosarly ("the app") is a free rosary prayer app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It guides you through the rosary one bead at a time, remembers where you stopped, can read the prayers aloud with your phone's built-in text-to-speech voice, and keeps a daily streak and a 54-day rosary novena calendar. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us. The prayers and mysteries work offline.

Your prayer records

Your prayer history (the days you prayed and the total count), the place where you stopped, your 54-day novena dates and the intention you write, and your settings are stored locally on your device.

Permissions

Rosarly does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, phone calls, SMS, photos, files or calendar.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your prayer records exist only on your device and in device backups you control; uninstalling the app removes the app's own copies. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
