Seatwell Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-09

Seatwell: Chair Workout ("the app") is a free chair-based exercise app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It builds a simple daily plan from a few onboarding answers (your goal, areas to go easy on, and preferred pace), guides you through seated exercises with a timer and optional voice guidance, and keeps a log of the workouts you finish. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us.

Information stored on your device

Your onboarding answers (goal, areas to avoid such as knees or shoulders, pace), your workout plan, completed workout history (date, duration, exercises), streaks, reminder times and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app itself does not send this information to us, and we have no server to receive it.

The areas you mark to go easy on are used only on your device to choose gentler exercises. Seatwell is a general fitness app and does not provide medical advice.

Uninstalling the app deletes the information stored in the app. Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.

Voice guidance

If voice guidance is on, the app uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to read exercise names and counts aloud. The app does not record audio and does not use the microphone.

Sharing

If you tap Share, the app creates a short text about your workout and passes it to the app you select through Android's share sheet. The app does not send it anywhere by itself.

Permissions

Seatwell does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar or health sensor access.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never during a workout, in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your plan, history and settings exist only on your device; you can reset or delete them in the app at any time, and uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.
