Tickcard Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-08
Tickcard ("the app") is a color notes and checklist app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It lets you write notes and checklists on colored cards, set reminders for individual notes and show a checklist in a home screen widget. Tickcard has no account system, no login and no server operated by us.
Information stored on your device
Your notes, checklists, card colors, reminder times and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app itself does not send this information to us, and we have no server to receive it. We do not ask for your name, age, phone number or email address.
Uninstalling the app deletes this information. Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
Backup files and sharing
If you use Export backup, the app writes your notes to a file at the location you choose through Android's file picker; Import reads a file you pick. If you tap Share on a note, its text is passed to the app you choose through Android's share sheet. The app does not send these anywhere by itself.
Permissions
- Notifications — reminders for notes you choose and optional daily reminders. You can decline, and notes keep working.
- Alarms & reminders — to show a note reminder at the exact time you set.
- Run at startup — to restore scheduled reminders after the phone restarts.
- Vibration — for reminder notifications.
- Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.
Tickcard does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts or phone access.
Advertising and information collected automatically
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Your notes and settings exist only on your device, so you can delete them in the app at any time, and uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.
