Verbizo Privacy Policy

Verbizo ("the app") is a free Spanish verb conjugation app provided by DDJ B1 ("we", "us"). It shows conjugation tables for Spanish verbs in every tense with English meanings, lets you search by infinitive, conjugated form or English word, offers practice drills with spaced repetition, a verb of the day, saved verbs and a home screen widget. It has no account system, no login, no subscription and no server operated by us. The verb data is built into the app and works offline.

Your data

Your saved verbs, recently viewed verbs, practice progress (answers, review schedule, streak and daily goal) and settings are stored locally on your device.

• The app itself does not upload this data, and we never receive it.
• The advertising SDK described below may collect information as explained in that section. Your saved verbs, answers and practice progress are not passed to the advertising SDK.
• Pronunciation uses the text-to-speech engine installed on your phone. Verbizo hands the Spanish word to that engine on your device; it does not record your voice and does not request microphone access.
• If you share a conjugation table, it goes only to the app you choose through Android's share sheet.
• Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.

Permissions

• Notifications — for the optional morning "verb of the day" and an evening reminder when your daily goal is still open. You can decline or turn them off; everything else keeps working.
• Run at startup — to restore reminders after the phone restarts or the time zone changes.
• Vibration — for reminder alerts.
• Internet / network state / advertising ID — used by the advertising SDK described below. Some permissions declared by Google libraries (for example basic phone state or a foreground service used by system components) are not used by the app to read personal information.

Verbizo does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone call access, SMS, calendar or photo library permissions, or permission to draw over other apps.

Advertising and information collected automatically

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the app only (never in notifications or in the widget). Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Your app data exists only on your device and in backups you control; uninstalling the app removes the app's own copies. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
