FAQ
- Is there a daily limit on cards or quizzes?
- No. You can make and study as many cards as you like, as often as you like.
- How does Flipnook decide what to review?
- Each card sits in one of 5 boxes. Knew it moves it up (longer gap), Didn't know sends it back to box 1 for today.
- Can I just flip cards instead of multiple choice?
- Yes. The main study mode is flip and grade yourself. The quiz is optional.
- Can I add pictures to cards?
- Yes. Add a picture from your gallery to the front, the back or both.
- How do I import cards from Excel or Google Sheets?
- Copy the two columns, open a deck, choose Paste or import cards and paste. Or open a CSV file.
- What happens if I change phones?
- Save a backup file in Settings and restore it on the new phone. Pictures and progress come along.
- Does it read cards aloud?
- Yes, using your phone's text-to-speech. Set the front and back language for each deck.
- Is Flipnook free?
- Yes, it is free and supported by ads. Ads never appear while you flip cards or answer a quiz.
